Licensed Setting Clinical Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Clinical Director, Executive Director
SUPERVISES: GLC Intensive Treatment Behavior Analyst I, Educational and Behavior Analysis Support Specialist
Starting Salary: $85,000 per year, adjusted for education and experience
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide assessment, intake, and therapy services to children, adolescents and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities served by the Great Lakes Center for Autism Treatment and Research – Licensed Settings programs in concert with established standards and practice guidelines. Provide initial and ongoing training to relevant care staff and families as needed to ensure quality programming and treatment, using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and evidence-based best practices, within the relevant settings of GLC. Assist in the implementation of research activities and data collection related to program outcomes. Supervise GLC Intensive Behavior Analysts. Perform all duties in accordance with overall program goals, agency policy and procedure and all applicable state, federal and local laws and/or regulations. Implement responsibilities and other actions in accordance with ROI’s Core Values and Vision and Mission Statements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Develop, implement, monitor, and revise overall treatment and service plan through directly supervising GLC Intensive Behavior Analysts and Educational and Behavior Analysis Support Specialist

- Conduct initial evaluations and screenings for individuals with a diagnosis of autism or other developmental disabilities. 4. Participate in service/support/treatment team meetings.
- Maintain positive working relationships between all collaborative/collateral organizations and the clinical team. 6. Provide training to and monitor the performance of relevant care staff and families in the implementation of the treatment program and service plan.
- Participate in interdisciplinary activities including intake/assessment planning meetings, peer reviews, case conferences, medical appointments, IEP meetings, discharge/transition planning meetings, and consultations with the clinical team. 8. Design curricula and programming that aligns with research, evidence-based practice, and current industry-standard assessments.
- Supervise and monitor team activities in an effort to maximize effectiveness of fiscal, HR, and program systems. 10. Assist with the creation/modification of program policies/procedures to reflect changes in licensing standards and regulations; ensure all program policies/procedures meet current standards.
- Implement ROI’s Personnel policies within the program team.
- Maintain and document accurate billing for services provided as needed.
- Comply with all laws and regulations regarding reporting suspected abuse and neglect of vulnerable persons. 14. Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. 15. Assist in the activities necessary for program evaluation and provide assistance for preparing/presenting research outcomes.
- Implement the assigned quality enhancement, strategic plan, outcomes plan, and program goals of the greater agency. 17. Promote a positive image of ROI/Great Lakes and maintain general upkeep of the workplace and equipment to ROI standards.

- Facilitate teamwork between all team members via open communication, responsibility sharing, and a cooperative attitude. 21. Participate in on-call rotation and responsibilities for the GLC licensed setting programs.
- Ensure clinical programs meet ROI’s and other professional standards.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all restricted information, data and reports.
- Complete all other tasks as assigned by the Clinical Director, Executive Director, COO, or CEO Rev. 1/2024
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience conducting assessments and implementing evidence-based procedures and treatment for individuals with developmental disabilities, including individuals with challenging behaviors; individuals with relevant experience in residential programs preferred. Possess the analytical skills necessary to develop, implement, and measure clinical assessment and treatment programs. Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with staff, clients, interdisciplinary team members, and families. Demonstrated adherence to systems based practices and protocols and developed supervisory and mentoring skills. Ability to lead group activities, as well as work on a one-to-one basis with individual clients. Ability to identify changes in client clinical conditions and adjust activities accordingly. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when administering treatments, observing client behaviors, and recording notes. Ability to complete crisis intervention training and perform those tasks as needed. Ability to attend (including providing own transportation) work-related obligations throughout the community.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Human Behavioral Science Field which includes graduate level coursework in basic principles of behavior, applied behavior analysis, and research methodology, Board Certification as Behavior Analyst and possess a valid and current license as a behavior analyst in the state of Michigan by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs . Must be an approved supervisor by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Approved driver status as determined by ROI.
PREFERRED: Minimum of two years of experience in a Michigan child caring institution or out-of-state/Canadian Province equivalent; able to legally hold position as chief administrator per the BCAL regulations.
